Hi everyone! I bought this machine last year during winter when the children always had a cold. Mikael has this gadget that measures the humidity level in our home, and it shows that the humidity level in our home is quite low. Which means that the air is quite dry.
From the website Apotea, which was where I bought it from, it says that the machine is supposed to be super silent. No noise whatsoever, making it suitable to be in the bedroom. But the truth it, it is not silent at all. It makes a small humming noise when switched on. And even switching it on is not easy if I already have a sleeping baby in the room as it makes a clicking sound.
You can put a lot of water inside the container, which is really good. Because then you don’t need to refill the tank as often as the other model. And if you have the settings to run on low, you can have it running for longer.
Since it is quite bulky, it is quite a hassle to refill the water tank. And you have to turn the full-with-water tank upside down, making it a risk for water spillage, even after multiple times refilling (will I ever master it?).
I am quite satisfied with it, but I read now that some other machine from Vicks is supposed to be a better air humidifier than this one.
Because our home is so prone to dust and dirts, I am also targeting the Air Cleaner from Electrolux but it is so costly, costs about 3500 SEK! Not sure I will be buying that one so soon just now.
Please leave a comment as to what you’re using at home. Or if you’re planning to buy an air humidifier yourself?
I would also appreciate tips and tricks on how to have a dust and dirt free home.
Our little girl is ten months old today! She has attempted to go down the bed legs first, twice up until today (she has yet to learn the importance of grasping the bedsheets while going down). And she can take small baby steps already from the last two weeks of her nine months old of life.
Wonderful Sarah can communicate very well when she’s done eating, saying “Dah, dah”. And whenever she’s done doing something she will also say that. That was actually her first word, too!
She is a very clever little lass, an independent eater and drinks very well from her own cup.
Mamma, pappa and abang Elias love you so much, Sarah!
Little Sarah is five months old today! 🙂 Guess how we celebrated her birthday?
Uncle Eddie is also celebrating his birthday today. So we all decided to get together in the city to eat lunch or have fika together. We went to a very nice restaurant called Ritz very close to Kungsportsplatsen.
I am going to start from today;

So, as you all know I have been giving Sarah some food in very teeny, tiny portions to boost her appetite and confidence in eating. I noticed that her bowel movements have become less regular when she starts consuming solids.
Like this week, I really think she hasn’t pooped at all for the whole week. And today is Saturday. That’s like six days of no pooping. And that must not feel so comfortable for her. I mean, I would get headache and feel very uneasy if I don’t go to toilet for even two days.
Of course, Sarah drinks only breastmilk and teeny, tiny portions of fruits or veggies. But she has also a small stomach. And food after digested has to come out otherwise it will become toxic in the body.
So I am going to start making a list of all the times that she poops, just like what I am doing with her food consumption. So that I can always go back to these lists and look at them anytime I want to, when needed.
Oh my God! I really cannot believe it..! Sarah is only four and a half months but her first tooth just broke today.
It is too soon! Elias got his first tooth when he was close to six months.
Is Sarah going to be growing super fast from now on? Faster than her brother Elias? 😩 My little princess…! 😭 Don’t leave Mamma too soon, baby girl.
Funnily enough, she was gnawing on my finger when I felt a sharp bite. It was at Siv’s birthday get-together, we were sitting around the dining table and I had Sarah sitting next to me. I purposely did not give her anything to eat, so I just let her chew on my finger in order to make her stay calm. Then she bit me hard with the tooth, I had to pull my finger off her mouth! One final check confirmed that she did have a tooth on the bottom part.
At that moment I was scared that she would bite on me during breastfeeding. But luckily it did not happened, yet 😄👍🏽
I would like to make a list of all the food that Elias loves to date. As I feel that sometimes I do not have any idea of what he loves to eat! And I feel frustrated after making such a tedious recipe but in the end having him refusing to eat the meal. It is not the happiest feeling at all!
Here goes the list:
